Coober Pedy is a little town located in northern South Australia which was established in 1915 following the discovery of opal by a 14-year-old. This place is known as the "opal capital of the world" producing the largest amounts of opal than any other part of the world. The chief occupation is mining and the silent lands of this place feed about 3,500 people out of which 80% live underground.

They initially made 'dugouts' and then started to build little homes where they could live peacefully and after a decade they started building up public amusement places like museums, casino, bars, bowling, gaming points and much more.
